Questions

Is Paisa free?

Yes, during early access. If pricing changes, we'll tell you first.

How do I get my transactions in?

Add a statement: PDFs from HDFC, ICICI, SBI and Amex, or a CSV from any bank. Statements are read on your phone, so the file and the password never reach our server. You can also add payments by hand.

Does Paisa connect to my bank?

No. Paisa never asks for your bank login. Paisa works from the statements your bank already emails you.

What does the server store?

Normally, your transactions, so they sync between your phones. With private mode on, names, descriptions and notes are encrypted on your device first, and the server only holds the encrypted text. Amounts, dates and categories stay readable so budgets and alerts work.

Can my family use Paisa?

Yes. Create a household and invite your partner. Each person signs in on their own phone, and each payment can belong to one of you or be joint.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. Android comes first. The web dashboard works on any device.
